Ernie LaViolette:

Ernie really had a great drumming career in the 1970's & 80's! He stopped by the basement to show us several cool drumming products from Big Bang Distribution.

Later, he took us back in time when he drummed with Yanni on the first album: Optimystique. Ernie was also the drummer for James Walsh Gypsy Band, scoring a Top 40 hit on the airwaves in 1978.

After that, he drummed with Dez Dickerson (Prince) and appeared in the major motion picture, Purple Rain in 1984! Dez's band (Modernaires) wound up touring with Billy Idol as the opening band on the Rebel Yell Tour.
